Verzameling foto’s die in 1953 door de Bond van Nederlandsche Amateurfotografen Verenigingen (BNAFV) is geschonken. De collectie was de vroegste aanzet in Nederland tot een museale fotocollectie, die de artistieke en technische ontwikkelingen van de fotografie moest representeren voor fotografiegeschiedschrijving en museale doeleinden.

Collection that was gifted in 1953 by the Federation of Netherlands Amateur Photographers Associations (BNAFV). The collection was the first impetus in the Netherlands to representing the artistic and technical development of photography for photohistorical and museological purposes.
