Black and white photographs of South and Southeast Asian archaeological remains, taken by the Dutch Indologist Johanna Engelberta van Lohuizen-de Leeuw (1919-1983) between c. 1956 and 1983. The collection contains in situ photographs and pictures of public and private Asian art collections, both in Asia and outside. Collection Van Lohuizen is part of Collection BAKA (Bibliotheek voor Aziatische Kunst en Archeologie), the biggest sub-collection of The Kern Institute Photographic Collections.

A. van Marle (1922-2001) was editor of the series Selected Studies on Indonesia by Dutch Scholars and translator. He also did research on the Polish-British author Jospeh Conrad. His archive contains correspondence and articles and documents concerning different subjects, among which the population, students and politics of the Dutch East Indies and Indonesia, publications of G.J. Renskink and the series Selected Studies.

S.C.J.W. van Musschenbroek (1827-1883) vervulde tussen 1855 en 1879 verschillende ambtelijke functies in Nederlands-Indië. Daarnaast was hij actief als natuurwetenschapper, waar hij zich onder andere toelegede op de seismologie, vulkanisme, botanie en zoölogie. Zijn archief bevat correspondentie, grotendeels over zijn natuurwetenschappelijk werk, artikelen en voordrachten en een verzameling Aziatische alfabetten.

S.C.J.W. van Musschenbroek (1827-1883) held various official functions in the Dutch East Indies between 1855 and 1879. He was also active as a natural scientist and worked in the fields of seismology, volcanism, botany and zoology. His archive contains correspondence, largely about his natural science work, articles and lectures and a collection of Asiatic alphabets.

F.W.T. van Oordt (1877-1942) was hoofdingenieur bij de Burgerlijke Openbare Werken. Zijn archief bestaat uit diverse stukken betreffende wegen- en bruggenaanleg in Nederlands-Indië en dagboeken en lesaantekeningen.
