Archief van Caspar George Carl Reinwardt (1773-1854), hoogleraar scheikunde, botanie en natuurlijke historie in Harderwijk, Amsterdam en Leiden, en directeur van het Departement van Landbouw, Kunsten en Wetenschappen in Nederlands-Indië, met persoonlijke stukken (waaronder een album amicorum en diploma’s), correspondentie, wetenschappelijke aantekeningen, collegedictaten, uittreksels en verslagen alsmede dagboeken van reizen naar en in de Indische archipel betreffende natuurlijke historie en natuurwetenschappen, landbouw, onderwijs, koloniaal bestuur en volkenkunde.

Papers of Caspar George Carl Reinwardt (1773-1854), professor of chemistry, botany and biology at the universities of Harderwijk, Amsterdam and Leiden, and director of the Department of Agriculture, Arts and Sciences in the Dutch East Indies, containing official and personal papers (among which an album amicorum and diplomas), correspondence, scholarly and lecture notes, reports, travel diaries to and in the Indonesian archipelago pertaining to natural history and natural sciences, agriculture, education, colonial administration and ethnology.

De kaartcollectie van het Koninklijk Instituut voor Taal-, Land- en Volkenkunde (KITLV) omvat ca. 16.000 kaartbladen en ca. 500 atlassen. Zij bestaat grotendeels uit topografisch kaartmateriaal van het grondgebied van het huidige Indonesië, Suriname, de Nederlandse Antillen en Zuidoost-Azië uit de negentiende en twintigste eeuw. De collectie is sinds 2014 in bruikleen gegeven door Vereniging KITLV.

The collection of the Royal Netherlands Institute of Southeast Asian and Caribbean Studies (KITLV) comprises c. 16,000 map sheets and c. 500 atlases. It largely contains topographical maps from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries of the territory of present-day Indonesia, Suriname, the Dutch Antilles and Southeast Asia. Since 2014 the collection is on loan from the KITLV Learned Society.
