De collectie is sinds 2014 in bruikleen gegeven door Vereniging KITLV.

The collection of the Royal Netherlands Institute of Southeast Asian and Caribbean Studies (KITLV) comprises c. 16,000 map sheets and c. 500 atlases. It largely contains topographical maps from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries of the territory of present-day Indonesia, Suriname, the Dutch Antilles and Southeast Asia. Since 2014 the collection is on loan from the KITLV Learned Society.
